1. Laura has created a highly inventive and engaging story, with a solid narrative, that unsettles and amuses throughout.
2. With excellent characterization and sparse but precise writing, Karla Ch’ien has achieved an amazing feat of compacting what feels like an entire novel into just 250 words.
3. In a beautiful stream of writing, this one sentence paragraph takes you on a wonderfully heady and atmospheric journey through a house of stories and ends with a poignant message. All the winning and honoured entries will be posted in full, here on our blog.
